Riskas Family Adventure Session || Arches National Park, Utah

This sessions was unreal. We don't say that often, but this session was fun and beautiful in every way. Dan and Tyson have worked together for about a year now and have become great friends. We love every chance we get to spend time with their cute family! 

For their family portraits this time they wanted more of an adventure location. So off we went early in the morning and drove to Arches National Park! It couldn't have been a more beautiful evening. We were so worried that we would lose light too quickly, but the sunset held on just long enough for us to capture such sweet interactions between the Riskas family. 

First off, if you live in Utah and haven't ever been to Arches...GO! It has so much to see and is such a gorgeous place to visit and hike through. We loved capturing the little girls running through the sand and playing on the rocks. I think a big reason Dan and I love lifestyle family sessions so much is because it feels so in the moment. Everything we capture is real and authentic, which is something we really strive for in our photography. We hope you love this session as much as we do!

Kennedy & Derek Adventure Session || Antelope Island, Utah

Derek and Kennedy...we love these two! We all took a trip out to Antelope Island this past December and explored for a little while. I'm embarrassed to say that I've lived about 15 minutes away from Antelope Island my whole life and only been out to see it probably three times. Two of the three times have been in this past year since I married Dan, so I picture there being many more trips out there in my future ha! 

With it being the middle of December these two braved the cold and squishy mud like champs! One of the best things about Antelope Island is that you can get such a variety of locations in one spot. It's really such a beautiful place to visit, let alone photograph.

Derek and Kennedy have such a sweet and fun relationship. They were so happy the entire shoot and not because they needed to be but because they were truly happy around one another. Their love for each other was contagious and Dan and I both left that shoot feeling so happy. We learn something from every couple we photograph that makes us want to work harder on our own relationship. I'm really thankful for that aspect of this job. These images may be some of our favorites forever. 

Lauren and Carter's Couple's Session || Downtown Salt Lake

This was such a fun shoot! We have been working on something exciting for our business and Lauren and Carter were sweet enough to help us out. This session was nothing but laughs the entire time. Lauren has been my best friend for as long as I can remember and any time her and I can get together its always a fun time! 

Laur and Carter are a perfect match. They are so cute and sweet together. They love each other so much and it showed through these images. We hope you love this session as much as we did!
